About Prajyot Mainkar

Mr. Prajyot Mainkar is the Founder & CEO of SoFueled, an IT services organization based out of Goa. He is fondly known as the ‘Android man of Goa‘ and has been also associated with Hon. PM Shri. Narendra Modi Ji’s PMO initiative of MYGOV.In. He mentored more than 50 startups under the PMO initiative.

The organization under his leadership has won the Goa State CM Startup Award 2017 as well as the GEMS (Goa Entrepreneurs Mentoring Services Trust) Trailblazer award for contribution to IT in the State. Goa IT Innovation Centre also awarded him with the excellence award for the work he has done. 

He played a pivotal role as a mentor at India’s foremost Digital Incubator For Students, The Startup Village. Additionally, he served three consecutive terms as the Chairman of the IT and Startups committee at the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and held the position of Chairman at the Young Entrepreneurship Forum for two terms.

Prajyot also served as a Judge for the Grand Challenge on the Governance 2030 sector at the Vibrant Gujarat Startup & Technology Summit (VG-STS), where he provided guidance and assessed over 50 ideas.

Moreover, he contributed as one of the industry advisors during the formulation of Goa State IT and Startup policy. In academia, he served as an industry faculty specializing in Android development for the MCA department at Goa University for two terms. He was influential in incorporating Android into the curriculum at Goa University.

Recognized for his achievements, he was honored as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Business Goa and acknowledged as one of the Intel innovators in the nation.

Prajyot further contributed as an industry advisor to the IGNITE incubator by EDC Goa. His expertise has been shared through over 600 talks on mobile and business development worldwide, with notable appearances including Droidcon Greece, Google Developer South East Asia Summit, Sri Lanka, and Android Developer Days in Turkey.

Distinguished as the first Goan author to release a book on Mobile Technology titled “Expert Android Programming,” his work has gained recognition from Google, which officially lists his book as a reference on Flutter technology.
